1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of sheetlinkwp.com, the SheetLink Forms WordPress plugin (free and paid versions), and any related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by SheetLinkWP ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" will refer to both you personally and that organization.
2. The Service
SheetLinkWP publishes the SheetLink Forms WordPress plugin. The free plugin is distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 or later via wordpress.org/plugins/sheetlink-forms/. Paid plans unlock premium features and add-ons, accessed through license activation and the customer portal on sheetlinkwp.com.
3. Accounts and licenses
3.1 Account creation
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your license key and account credentials, and for all activity under your account.
3.2 License grant - paid plans
Subject to payment and ongoing compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use the premium features of SheetLink Forms on the number of WordPress sites indicated by your plan (seat count). You may not:
- Exceed your plan's seat count
- Share your license key outside your organization
- Remove, obscure, or alter copyright, trademark, or license notices (except as permitted by the White-Label add-on on Agency Plus)
- Resell the premium features except under a written agency or reseller agreement with us
3.3 Free plugin (GPL)
The free version of the SheetLink Forms plugin distributed through wordpress.org is licensed under the GPL v2 or later. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted under the GPL for that code.
3.4 Updates
Active paid plans receive product updates and security releases for the duration of the plan. Lifetime-deal plans receive updates for the current major version and all subsequent compatible updates we publish.
4. Billing, renewals, and cancellation
- Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date.
- You can cancel at any time from the customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Lifetime-deal ("LTD") plans are one-time purchases for the life of the product. If we discontinue the product, we will offer either a comparable replacement or a pro-rata refund.
- Plan changes (upgrades or downgrades) are prorated to the next billing cycle.
- All fees are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for applicable taxes.
5. Refund policy
We offer a 14-day refund guarantee on any paid plan or add-on purchase, for any reason. Request a refund by emailing support@sheetlinkwp.com within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, purchases are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right
- Send unsolicited or unlawful messages (spam)
- Collect personal data without lawful basis
- Upload or process content that is illegal, harmful, or infringing
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decrypt, or circumvent license controls (beyond rights granted by the GPL for the free plugin)
- Use the Service to build or train a directly competing product
- Use the Service on behalf of sanctioned individuals or entities
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, typically with prior notice unless immediate action is required to prevent harm.
7. Your data and content
You retain all rights to the data and content your WordPress site processes through the Service. We do not claim ownership. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the Service on your behalf. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Sheetlinkwp.com, the customer portal, and hosted add-ons (CRM Fan-Out, AI Lead Scoring, AI Analytics) are provided as-is. The free and paid plugin code runs inside your WordPress site and continues to function even when our backend is unreachable (the plugin caches entitlements for 12 hours for offline tolerance).
9. Third-party services
The Service integrates with third-party services you choose to connect (Google Sheets, HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, Pipedrive, Stripe, etc.). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, including outages, data loss, policy changes, or deprecations on those platforms.
10. Intellectual property
Except for the GPL-licensed free plugin code, the Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SheetLinkWP and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. "SheetLinkWP" and "SheetLink Forms" are our trademarks. Agency Plus customers using the White-Label add-on may display their own branding in place of ours inside their WordPress installations.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND COURSE OF DEALING. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL SHEETLINKWP BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) $100 USD.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SheetLinkWP harmless from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or legal necessity. On termination, your license to paid features ends; your data rights under the Privacy Policy survive. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) do survive.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Franklin County, Ohio, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to paid customers by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
