Key Benefits

Excel as Your Sole Destination

Skip Google Sheets entirely. Form submissions land directly in an Excel Online workbook on OneDrive - no Google account, no Google Sheet, no middle step. Built for shops that run on Microsoft 365.

The Workbook Your Team Already Uses

Data writes to a real workbook on OneDrive, so it opens identically in Excel desktop, Excel on the web, and the Excel mobile app. New rows appear everywhere the file is open.

Per-Rule Field Mapping

Each sync rule maps its form fields to specific Excel columns. Route different forms to different column layouts in the same workbook.

Secure by Design

Your Microsoft refresh token is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). The Azure client secret never ships in the plugin - OAuth refresh runs through SheetLink's hosted broker so the secret stays on our servers.

How It Works

Connect a Microsoft 365 account from SheetLink Forms -> Destinations -> Excel Online (a standard OAuth sign-in - personal or work / school accounts both work). Pick a workbook and table from the picker; your existing Excel tables show up automatically. Then, on any sync rule, set the Primary destination to Excel Online and map your form fields to Excel columns. From that point, every matching submission posts straight to Microsoft Graph and the row appears in your Excel table within seconds - with no Google Sheet anywhere in the path. If you would rather keep Google Sheets as the primary delivery and also copy each submission into Excel, that mirror mode is free and needs no add-on; this add-on is specifically for making Excel the sole destination.

Real-World Use Cases

Microsoft 365 Agencies

An agency whose clients all run on Microsoft 365 sets up form-to-Excel delivery without ever creating a Google account. Each client site writes leads straight into a shared Excel workbook on the client's OneDrive.

Finance and Operations Teams

A finance team that builds every report in Excel receives form submissions directly in the workbook they already model in - no export step, no Google Sheets copy to reconcile.

Compliance-Driven Microsoft Shops

An organization standardized on OneDrive for data governance keeps all form data inside Microsoft 365, satisfying IT policies that don't allow data in Google Workspace.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is sending form data to Excel free?

Mirroring to Excel is free on all plans - that means sending each submission to Google Sheets and Excel Online at the same time, with no add-on. The Excel Primary add-on ($29/mo) is only needed when you want Excel Online to be your sole destination with no Google Sheet involved at all.

Do I need a Google account to use Excel Primary?

No. With Excel as your primary destination there is no Google Sheet and no Google account anywhere in the flow. You connect a Microsoft 365 account and submissions go straight to your Excel workbook on OneDrive.

Where is my form data stored?

In a standard Excel workbook on your own OneDrive (or SharePoint document library). SheetLink writes rows to a table you pick; you keep full ownership of the file and can open it in Excel desktop, web, or mobile.

Is Excel Primary included in any bundle?

Yes. It is included in the Agency Growth ($69/mo) and Agency Plus ($99/mo) bundles at no extra cost. The $29/mo price is for buying it on its own without a bundle.

How is my Microsoft connection secured?

Your Microsoft refresh token is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM inside WordPress. The Azure client secret never ships in the plugin - token refresh runs through SheetLink's hosted OAuth broker, so the secret stays on our servers, not on your site.

Make Excel Online your only destination

No Google Sheets, no Google account - form data straight into your Excel workbook on OneDrive. Want both Sheets and Excel instead? That's free, no add-on needed.
